Sculpturedale is the studio and gallery of sculptor Denis Curtiss. Each sculpture is made of steel and though entirely durable for outdoor placement in any weather, they show movement and liveliness unexpected in heavy metal. From Africa's "big five" to Connecticut's wildlife to dogs and cats to human dancers, there is great variety and each and every piece is unique. All are made in the studio located on the property. Sculpturedale is comprised of 3 acres of tended garden where visitors may stroll amidst interesting plantings which enhance the placement of over a hundred pieces of sculpture. Many visitors and groups enjoy seeing the studio and peering "inside" a work which is underway.

Denis' sculpture is owned by collectors around the country and beyond. They can be seen in public places from Greenwich CT to Lincoln, Nebraska. Visitors are welcome to visit Sculpturedale, located right on Route 7 three miles north of the center of Kent, close to Kent Falls State Park.

Open year round on most days of each week.
