Owner Susanne Edgerly has been selling antiques for nearly 40 years, opening her Kent shop in 1995. Her discerning eye seeks out European and American textiles, white ironstone china, pattern glass, country furniture and accessories, silver, apothecary items and various other collectibles. In addition, Merle Koblenz of Koblenz & Co. Antique & Estate Jewelry, offers a stunning selection of eclectic jewelry in the shop.
Textiles include quilts, Eastern European homespun grain bags, towels, tablecloths, and pillows. 19th century pattern glass including goblets, spooners and lamps share a high shelf around the interior with transferware china and Quimper pottery. Sterling silver flatware and small hollow-ware serving pieces add sparkle to the displays.
Kitchen items of tin, iron, wire, and wood, are assembled with breadboards, totes, and yellowware. On the walls hang mirrors and prints. A narrow bookcase offers books to please many interests. Collectors of apothecary will find a special early 20th century porcelain LEECHES jar among medicine bottles, graduates, mortars and pestles, and more.
Contact Sue and Merle - they are always happy to consider purchasing items of interest.
