Set back from the road, Lyme Regis, LTD is located in a lovely mid-19th Century clapboard house. The shop is filled with beautiful things, personal, esoteric and unique.19th Century transferware pottery including children's nursery plates as well as French rebus plates; jewelry from the 18th Century to the mid 20th Century with pieces as quirky and conversational as they are chic, striking and very individualistic; 19th Century smalls, which include treenware figural inkwells and snuffboxes; unusual 19th Century prints primarily representing the Natural World and a smattering of wonderful maritime folk art pieces such as ships in bottles.
We also carry contemporary letter press printed cards, Lalo notecards, reproduction optical toys and handmade jewelry influenced by 18th and 19th Century English design. Perhaps the best way to describe Lyme Regis LTD is...small and magical.
