ABOUT | Sherman Chamber Ensemble
Celebrating its 30th Anniversary Season in 2012, the Sherman Chamber Ensemble offers a year-round schedule of some two dozen performances for all ages in a variety of venues in Connecticut and New York. Guided by Artistic Director Eliot T. Bailen and co-founder flutist Susan Rotholz, SCE offers Baroque programs, jazz-inspired concerts, bluegrass jamborees, children's programs, school residencies and pop/rock coffeehouses, in addition to its signature summer chamber music sereis, which was described by The New York Times as "about as close as it gets to the Platonic ideal of a chamber music concert".
