five reasons why Kent is so darn popular

1. We have a charming New England train station right in the middle of town.

Unfortunately, the train hasn't stopped here in 48 years.

2. Barnyard animals are not allowed on town sidewalks.

Possibly the most significant town law ever passed.

3. There's only one traffic light in town. Sometimes it even works.

4. Everyone knows everyone else. You're bound to stick out like a sore thumb.

5. Hardly a day goes by without someone remarking how sophisticated Kent is. After all, it's not every small Connecticut town that offers five art galleries, two chocolate shops, three museums, seven restaurants, three cafes, twenty-five shops and boutiques, three private schools, one waterfall, one river, three state parks, and views that will take your breath away.
