Participating stores have contributed to a town-wide drawing of two gift baskets, valued at over three hundred dollars each. In order to be eligible for the drawing, shoppers need to visit at least two stores in four different zones in town. This is a similar format to what was employed during the wildly successful Kent Champagne Stroll that was held Thanksgiving weekend.
One of the organizers of the event, Anne McAndrew, said there are 30 businesses that have signed up to participate. “Kent shops are unsurpassed and feature quality merchandise,” she said. “Shop owners work hard to guarantee that their inventories are unique and interesting. You’ll enjoy strolling through town, visiting favorite shops and discovering new ones.”
